Un incontournable selon moi, pour allier nuit atypique et d'exception ! Un accueil des plus chaleureux. La cabine que nous avions était top, et que dire du fait de voir des aurores boréales toute la nuit au milieu du lac depuis son lit !!! Magique ! Je n'oublierai jamais cette fabuleuse expérience !

The folks at Inari Mobile Cabins are some of the most hospitable, warm and friendly guys we have met at any of our stays. The dinner was absolutely brilliant. The service was unmatched. The concept is truly unique. We were given a couples cabin which was self sufficient with heating. Post dinner, a snowmobile hauled the cabin with us in it to the middle of the Inari lake. We were left there in the wilderness for the night to witness an amazing aurora show. Early morning haul back to a wonderful hotel style breakfast. The stay and experience was the highlight on our Finland itinerary.

Atte haalde ons op in het centrum en bracht ons naar de Cabins. Nadat we ons geïnstalleerd hadden, gingen we op pad. Er is een mogelijkheid om zelf cross-country skis te huren. Je kan hiermee het meer/bos verkennen en wilde rendieren spotten. Ze raden je aan om dezelfde weg terug te nemen, maar als je forest skis hebt, kan je ook short-cuts of alternatieve routes nemen! Aanrader!
Atte is ook de chefkok in de grillhut. Op het menu staat rendier-knakworst. Het tempo zit er goed in tijdens het eten. De maaltijden volgen elkaar snel op. Je eet er samen met de andere gasten, en met wat geluk tafel je met jong geweld. Gezellig!
Om 20h stipt, wordt je het meer opgesleept en kan je genieten van de rust en van het Noorderlicht (als de hemel helder is). Er is een toilet aanwezig in de Cabine, maar wie kan zeggen dat ze hebben wildgeplast op Lake Inari?!

Une nuit extraordinaire pour le réveillon du jour de l’an au pays des rêves !
Posés sur le lac gelé dans une superbe cabine avec en spectacle les aurores boréales pour rendre ce moment inoubliable et sorti du temps présent. Les hôtes sont extraordinaires ! À l’écoute et le logement commun est juste parfait ! La propreté des sanitaires et tous les équipements sont parfaits ! La cuisine est top avec beaucoup de choses à disposition ! Nous recommandons à 3000/100 vous ne regretterez pas votre choix !
Nous rêvons déjà de revenir un jour 🙏🏻

We spent a night at Lake Inari Mobile Cabins, it was amazing! Sadly the weather was not clear enough to see northern lights but the good ambiance created by Atte and the cozy Cabins made up for it. I totally recommend!

Went in March from Australia to Lake Inari, desperate to see Northern Lights for two nights. Upon arrival at Lake Inari Mobile Cabins, Atte & Alexis welcomed us, they fired up a real Finnish Sauna, a shock to the system but absolutely invigorating for the body & mind. The main house had showers and breakfast /lounge area, was very cozy, spotlessly clean & ample charging stations.|Warm as toast, with the heater on the lowest setting in the mobile cabins on the frozen lake overnight. We felt very safe with Atte’s skills on the snowmobile, great fun to be towed out. Saw the most amazing lights on both nights!! Slept soundly till towed back for generous breakfast.|Alexis was fantastic, no problem with us being vegan, it was such a pleasure. Atte cooked a traditional Finnish Bar-B-Que in the fire hut Vegan style for us. His fire side conversations gave us a real insight into Artic life and Finnish history, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Cannot praise Atte & Alexis enough, a truly once in a life time experience made perfect by great hosts.

Such a cool experience! Honestly I think more worth the money than the glass igloos. The hosts were very friendly, taught me some interesting things about the area and the people, and served a delicious breakfast the next morning. The cabins were pulled out onto the lake around 8pm, and it was a perfect spot to catch the Auroras! They appeared around 9:30pm and danced for us until about 11:30pm. Met some good people staying on the lake with me as well. I recommend!
