Truly outstanding location for our family reunion. Clean, well equipped house with large full kitchen, 7 bedrooms, laundry, and modern sauna on the edge of pristine lake Päijänne. We used kayaks to explore around nearby islands, and spent a day trekking in the national park on Kelvenne Island. Our host was helpful and available for every request.. and able to reschedule as needed for weather. We would highly recommend this rental!

We had a team meeting in a lovely surroundings in chilly October but in a lovely sunny weather. Everything worked smoothly, food was excellent and service very friendly and professional. Nice way to have a hard business meeting with some team relaxing activity in between. Took a lovely boat trip during the day. We got extremely lucky to get enjoy northern lights and some shooting stars while sitting in the jacuzzi. We surely are coming back and this will be one spot to have regularly meeting with my team.

I first heard about Kiuasniemi Villa Jolla from a business partner. He had arranged a successful team meeting at the place, recreational activities included. This got my attention, since for a while I had been searching for a quality place for our management team’s strategy day. ||||And so it turned out that Villa Jolla filled also our expectations and needs perfectly. Our agenda contained strategically important issues, and for the brilliant outcome of the meeting we have surely the atmosphere and the ambience of the place to thank for. ||||At lunch time, our day was surprisingly and pleasantly interrupted by the Kiuasniemi chef and his amazing lunch menu that he had conjured from autumn’s pure ingredients: pike perch from Lake Päijänne with rye flour coating as main course, and blueberry mousse as dessert. After these delicacies, we were energetic to continue our afternoon work towards important decisions. ||||At the end of our day we enjoyed the warmth of both Villa Jolla’s sauna and the lakeside sauna near the villa. I must also mention that from the sauna each member of our management group took a dip in the water which was as much as +12 degrees Celsius. After the sauna and before heading home we were treated with a delicious Kiuasniemi evening snack of which we all dream about still to this day. ||||Even for these kinds of shorter one day meetings like ours, Kiuasniemi Villa Jolla is located in an optimal distance from the entire Southern Finland. However, our team made a decision and also a reservation that on our management group’s spring strategy meeting, we will be staying for an overnight visit in Villa Jolla. Then, after a hard day’s work, we will head to an unforgettable hiking trip on a nature trail in Kelvenne Island. Kelvenne is the main island of Päijänne National Park, and it is only a short boat ride away from Kiuasniemi. The fishermen of our team will be treated with a trolling trip in the fishy waters of Lake Päijänne with a Kiuasniemi professional guide. ||||Kiuasniemi Villa is an excellent base for management groups and key teams to meet up. The place offers amazing meeting premises with a lakeside view, private accommodations to all participants, and two separate sauna units for men and women. ||||I recommend the place with sincere warmth.

A great long weekend with a group of friends at Kiuasniemi Villas. They have great facilities, the houses are well furnished and decorated and the hot tub has great views of the lake. We liked it a lot and will be going back. 🙂

This place is great! Villas are new, clean, functional and just by the lake. Lake itself is very clean and bright, so swimming in it is a real pleasure. Service and food are top quality - this truly is a great place to have a team meeting or a relaxing family holiday.

High quality villas in perfect location just next to Paijanne Lake. Very beautiful view to the lake, and to the natural park. Both nature and villa(s) are perfectly clean. Service, like sauna, local food etc are perfect.

Beautiful villa in a beautiful setting, well equipped with everything you could need. The site is very peaceful and rural. The only negative for us was the isolated location and he fact that we were there out of he main summer season.

Very comfortable and high quality premises with awesome view! Perfect if you enjoy staying close to the nature, fishing, kayaking.. Sauna with hot tub with lake view was amazing!! Villa is modernly equipped.
