Super accueil, les hôtes partagent avec facilité leur histoire et celle de la région ce qui nous a permis de découvrir des endroits que nous n'aurions pas soupçonner.
Nous logions dans l'ancien gymnase de l'école, c'était parfait. L'espace est grandiose, la cuisine super bien équipée pour preparer ce que l'on veut. Nous regrettons juste d'être arrivés une semaine trop tard pour assister au festival d'Ilomantsi, ça doit être fantastique.
Un grand merci aux hôtes.

My family and friends stayed for a week and we are enjoying something different every day. Fishing, Barbecue, private playground with lovely pets accompanied with freshly made breakfast every morning. Rooms are spacious with your own private kitchen and bathrooms. The hosts are very friendly and informative. It is definitely a place to stay if you visit Ilomantsi or wanted to feel like home abroad. The place is historical with plenty of parking place. Good for family visit and retreat. ||||我的家人和朋友待了一個星期，我們每天都在享受不同的東西,包含釣魚，燒烤，私人遊樂場以及每天早晨的新鮮早餐。 寬敞的客房設有私人廚房和浴室。 主人非常友好和信息豐富。 如果您遊覽Ilomantsi或想在國外感覺像家一樣，這絕對是一個住宿的地方。 這個地方是歷史悠久的，有充足的停車位。 適合家庭遊覽和休養。

An old school converted into a place to stay. Nicely renovated rooms. The old gym class was converted into a large space with two single beds. Artistically pleasing to see, that was really the only highlight. The room is connected to a corridor which has multiple purposes, entrance to a fabric design shop, toilets and shower, and a kitchen.
All facilities were available to use making the sensation of own living. Few extra facilities were to hand other than outdoor sport activities, board games for indoor activities (especially if it rains).
The pricing is surprising high giving the low number of facilities, although the room is large.

The B&B consists of 2 apartments; a large (120m2) one downstairs where the bedroom is in an ex-gym with a very high ceiling and a smaller (60m2) one upstairs which used to be the teacher's apartment. The place has very much preserved its authencity only must do's are done.||||The location is 5-10 mins drive from Ilomantsi in a very quiet place. A vehicle is a must, otherwise a perfect location for a holiday.||||The apartments have an optional breafast. We opted for one and we chose a DIY. We were provided with all the items the previous evening and made the breakfast ourselves when we wanted. Optimal for us.||||The place is run by a nice couple who have extensive knowledge of the places of interest in and out Ilomantsi.||||Interestingly enough the B&B has a 100 mbits fiber connection in the literally middle of nowhere. Thus you get more than a decent speed for your wifi.||||Will certainly stay again when in Ilomantsi.

We decided to make this B&B enter in our list of "most interesting" overnight stays ever.||||Where else can you wake up in the morning and do your morning gym on a vertical bar or on rings hanging down from the ceiling?||||This place (we rented their apartment) is located in a previous school; thus it does not only offer a lot of historical insights but also consists of large living and bed rooms, a kitchen, several bathrooms, an entry hall etc.||||We enjoyed our three nights a lot, including the sauna which has been warmed up by the very kind couple of owners who decided to turn this old school into a B&B. They gave us a lot of hints what to do and what to visit. Thanks!
