Ystäväperheen kanssa oltiin täällä syömässä. Erinomaisen hyvää ruokaa ja ystävällinen palvelu. Northern Lights Village Pyhä on tuonut kansainvälisen tason palvelua ja menoa Pyhälle. Paikka täynnä iloisia lomalaisia eri maista. Erilaisia aktiviteetteja näytti olevan tarjolla. Paikka on uudistunut monella tavalla ja todella onnistuneesti.

Lounas 25€ ja siihen ei kuulunut edes maitoa. Oltaisiin lähdetty tästä hiihtämään mutta oli uhkaus auton pois hinaamisesta.

If you want an awesome Arctic experience, I highly recommend Northern Lights. The excursions are amazing and the staff is beyond friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you are having a great time. All of the gear you need to stay warm and get the most out of your stay is included, but some of the excursions may cost extra, such as snowmobiling, but even then are reasonable from a cost perspective. The room we had had a sauna and an amazing shower. The food was good, but not the star of the show. That award goes to the staff! Thanks for the great time!

We have just returned, family of 5 (3 teenage girls). We stayed in the Tiaga Cabin which was warm and cosy and just about enough room. The resort is situated in a beautiful location and surroundings and there is a walk down to a very beautiful frozen lake. The sauna was a nice addition in the cabin and the beds were comfy. We did the reindeer ride, 10k Huskys, evening Aurora hunting in the heated sleigh, 2hr snowmobiling and a day at the local ski resort. We absolutely loved every second of our trip and would recommend all of these excursions! We enjoyed all the food; we are not fussy eaters and appreciated the hearty homecooked choice. The food was hot, fresh and refilled often. The staff were helpful, professional and friendly. We would totally recommend this resort! Our only slight comment was that we felt they could have kept on the juice machine for lunch and dinner that they had on at breakfast primarily for the children, instead of just offering water, but I guess they want to promote buying drinks at the bar. Overall a luxurious trip of a lifetime. We were very sad when it was over. Thank you to the hosts.

Wir waren dort für 2 Näche mit Halbpension - das Essen war immer ausreichend am Buffet & für jeden was dabei. Die Nachspeisen waren sehr lecker - Himbeertorte, Creme Brulee,... Die Zimmern sind auch sehr modern & man fühlt sich wohl - wir hatten das Glück Polarlichter zu sehen - auch der Alarm über das Hoteltablet im Zimmer ging dabei an um die Menschen für die Lichter zu wecken - mega Erlebnis! Man kann über das Hotel auch viele Aktivitäten buchen - sehr familienfreundlich. Der See liegt gleich die Straße gegenüber & auch die Skipisten sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Jederzeit wieder!

This is a lovely place to stay, in no small part due to the friendly and helpful staff. ||Our room was spacious and very clean. It was always warm enough and was well equipped. The hairdryer worked well. The large 'sky view windows' with the bed under were great. The weather was unusually warm and the freeze/thaw conditions had made the footpaths icy. ||We were on full board and found there was sufficient choice at every meal. The food was tasty and tea and coffee were available all day. Cappuccino, latte, etc were available to purchase at the bar. ||All the activities were well run and good fun. The schedule we were given ran to time. There is little else to do locally but walking routes are planned. The hotel provided a transfer to and from the local ski resort for a fee. ||On our return we had the usual request for feedback and were impressed to receive a reply with positive solutions to the few suggestions we made.

I went with my sister and brother in law. We all agreed this was the best holiday experience ever. We stayed 1 night in the brilliant aurora igloo then 3 nights in the superb Taiga cabin with private sauna, 2 bedrooms and a spacious lounge. It wasnt as cold outside as previous weeks (-17 to -8). We turned the AC off altogether as it was so hot yet the cabin stayed warm. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. All the meals were excellent every day. We opted for Reindeer safari, with a lovely guide who told us all things reindeer. Aurora hunt snowmobiling with Jonas, with a stop at a teepee with a warming fire, hot berry juice and a snack. Very exciting evening but due to clouds, no chance of seeing aurora. The next day we went on the husky drive. I can't express how exhilarating that experience was. Driving my own sledge with my own team of dogs!! The dogs are clearly loved by the handlers and answered loads of questions from the group happily. The next trip was another nighttime aurora hunt in a 4x4. It was snowing heavily so we all knew there'd be no sightings. However, our guide, Elias took us to a typical wooden shelter, built a fire, toasted some marsh mallows, more hot berry juice and chatted with us about Finland. All very informative. On the last night with only a few hours before we left. The clouds started to clear and the chances of spotting the aurora were increasing. We set off to the woods at 1am determined to see them. We were not disappointed. It was breathtaking, surreal and the brightest display for some time. It is totally necessary to hunt them when the conditions are right whatever time of the night or morning it is. We took photos for 2 hours and were ecstatic with the results. I thoroughly recommend this resort, the excursions and the cold weather gear they provide. A genuine memory of a lifetime.

What an amazing hotel situated on a frozen lake that was a superb location to wander down to at night with a good chance of seeing the northern lights. ||We were lucky enough to see the lights on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and they were everything we had hoped for. ||As for the hotel we could not have asked for anything more. Staying in one of the Aurora Suites with its own sauna and glass roof so you could sit and watch the night sky was an amazing experience. It was lovely to just while away some hours looking at the sky or indeed the beautiful tree tops and the room itself was really well appointed with a lot of space. ||We had a full itinerary of activities including dog sledding (our favourite), snow shoeing, snow mobile, 2 aurora hunting at night excursion and a surprise photography course (which as non photographers was hugely useful and benefitted us throughout the stay). All the activities were really enjoyable and well run. Which leads us to the stars of the hotel which are its staff, who quite simply are incredible. A young and vibrant crew from various countries they were engaging, fun loving and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and despite the fact this must be their 4th month of the season they seemed to be really enjoying themselves which set the tone for the entire resort. ||My only negative is that we didn’t have longer as there were a few other activities we would like to have done, so we had better come back!
