Very nice cafe, and the people that are working there(or own it, not very sure) are so friendly and they are welcoming everyone with such warmth. We hire ice skate, very nice and they have a very good quality ones. I couldn't recommend enough!

Staying in Rovaniemi for a week and right by our Apartment and a short walk to town centre, This Square has a small ice rink, where here you can hire ice skates, They also do hot drinks and the Hot Chocolate is the best, The owners are super friendly, Loved visiting here every day of our holiday, worth a visit.

Un superbe endroit que j’ai découvert sur recommandation de plusieurs groupes Facebook sur Rovaniemi. Les propriétaires sont adorables et l’accueil chaleureux. Les prix sont tout à fait corrects (10 euros pour les enfants avec accès illimité). La patinoire est très grande et lorsque nous y sommes allés deux fois, il y avait très peu de monde. Les supports disponibles sur place aident bien les enfants qui découvrent le patinage. Nous y sommes allés un soir 40 min avant la fermeture et la dame nous a fait payé 50% du prix par enfant, ce qui était très sympa de sa part. On a pu aussi repartir avec 3 beignets offerts car elle fermait. La pente à côté est aussi top pour descendre en luge. Je recommande cet endroit.

Nous sommes venus pour la patinoire, les gérants sont très gentils et vous conseille bien pour les patins et vous aident si besoin. Vrai patinoire de glace avec piste de luge à côté (luge à disposition).

Ήρθαμε μέσα Φεβρουαρίου. Ήταν όλα παγωμένα, υπέροχα! Ο Timo (ο ιδιοκτήτης) ήταν εξυπηρετικότατος. Το ίδιο και η σύζυγός του. Μπορείς να νοικιάσεις τα κλασικά παγοπέδιλα του hockey ή του καλλιτεχνικού πατινάζ. Μάρκες παγοπέδιλων πολύ καλές όπως και η ποιότητα και η κατάστασή τους. Σου δίνουν δωρεάν κράνος.
Εγώ ήθελα πολύ να παίξω pond hockey, οπότε μου έδωσαν δωρεάν μπαστούνι και puck και το απόλαυσα!

Έχουν εξαιρετική σοκολάτα (2 επιλογές: μία με gingerbread και μία με marshmellows) που τη συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Δίπλα απ’τον χώρο του πατινάζ, υπάρχει ένα εξαίρετος λόφος για να κάνεις ελκηθροκαταβάσεις (τέλεια εμπειρία για τα παιδιά)!

Είναι στην ευρύτερη περιοχή του κέντρου του Ροβανιέμι, ευκολοπροσβάσιμη.

I travelled to Rovaneimi with my 10 and 12yr old sons in Feb 2025. Of all the places and excursions we took part in and I paid for, this wonderful gem of a place was by far their favourite. We came 3 times over 2 days.

It’s charming, simple, heart warming and is run by the kindest people. The hot chocolate is just what you need in the cold months, and simple donuts are also available to buy

You can hire ice skates for €10 a day. They will also let you use ice hockey sticks and pucs, and there are support aids if you need them.

The small but perfectly enjoyable hills in the park are great for sledging for up to age 12 I would say, and free sledges are left for everyone to use.

Came to this Café as part of visiting the sledding hill and wanting to use the ice rink.

Drinks are very well priced (2 to 3 euros), and we hired skates from the guys and girls there. €10 for children, €15 for adults.

I was very fortunate in that I was able to play some stick and puck on the ice, which was very fun for me at least!

They also have little skate aids for the younger / less confident, and also seats that you sit kids on and push around.

All round an amazing experience, 5 out of 5, and I would definitely visit again.

This might be the friendliest and kindest team in all of Rovaniemi. A well-hidden gem amidst the commercial tourist hustle. I sincerely hope the owners can maintain their warmth and kindness despite the stress that often comes with dealing with so many tourists here.
