Another fantastic evening with Sirly and her fabulous team. A creative and excellent meal and drinks pairings (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) from local produce, created with an artistic flair and served with a detailed briefing and great service. Would highly recommend and we will be back for sure next time we visit. A must do if you like food and a real taste of Finnish food, history, culture and ambiance.

The best restaurant experience I've ever had. We were lucky to have a private dinner for the two of us and two others. The main chef said the experience has the tendency of bringing the best out of people and I can say with a full heart that really happened. I'm grateful for the lovely evening we got to spend with two strangers from Switzerland. The atmosphere was cozy yet unforgettable - everything in the room had a story behind it. The food was out of this world with every single dish. The food made me gasp, laugh and almost cry - it was just such an exquisite experience. The host, Anna, was lovely and so was the main chef. They are striving towards the Michelin star and I can recommend you visit this place before they get it as it's still considered a well kept secret. I am sure I will visit this place again and again, as I can say this is genuinely the best restaurant I've ever been to. Thank you so much Sirly and Anna.

My experience at Elsa’s was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, it felt like stepping into another world. Even the parking experience was surreal—driving onto the lot felt like entering the parking grounds of a Frozen castle, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Arctic. The lodge itself is located in a place where you might not entirely expect it, but once inside, you find yourself in a grand hall that feels almost like a medieval knight’s dining room. It was truly special for me. I had never been to a dinner where there were both solo diners and couples at the same table, creating a unique and intimate communal experience.

Beyond the atmosphere, the food was simply outstanding—worthy of a Michelin star. The crab, the bread, and even the gelato were exceptional. I ate until I couldn’t anymore. Since I don’t drink, I was served a variety of carefully crafted Arctic juices that were perfectly paired with each dish. Each juice was unique, thoughtfully selected to complement the flavors of the food in the same way a wine pairing would. From delicate citrus blends to rich, earthy berry infusions made from Arctic ingredients, the combinations were surprising and enhanced the entire dining experience. It was evident that just as much thought and expertise went into these non-alcoholic pairings as into the wine selection, which made me feel completely included in the experience.

The interactive game during the meal was a fantastic touch, keeping everyone engaged. Even those of us who weren’t drinking got to guess the flavors in the wine, which made for a fun and surprising experience. Some people guessed right away, while others were completely off—it just goes to show how easily scent can mislead us.

Another thing that made the evening even more special was the incredible story about Finland, the cows, and the milk. It was fascinating, and somehow, knowing that story made everything taste even better. It added an extra layer of appreciation to the entire dining experience.

The chef was phenomenal, and the service was equally impressive. Everything was explained in detail, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The wine cellar was stunning, and I loved hearing the story about how the stones were brought there.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Beyond the incredible food, it was truly a one-of-a-kind evening.
