I had a bowl of salmon soup here today, and it was wonderfully refreshing — light but full of flavour, just right for a sunny Helsinki afternoon. The soup included not just salmon, but also other seafood like shrimp and mussels, along with vegetables in a clean, well-balanced broth.

There’s a bread station where you can help yourself — a nice touch that makes the meal feel even more satisfying.

The sign at the entrance says Soup+More, so don’t be confused if you’re looking for “Soppakeittiö”! It’s located inside the Old Market Hall. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual — great for a quick solo lunch or a warm, local bite during your day out.

Highly recommended. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Helsinki.

Cosy and quick – a real market gem! SOUP+MORE at Hakaniemi Market Hall is absolutely delightful. Nestled in the beautifully renovated covered market, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere – perfect for sheltering from the elements. I had the XL salmon soup for €16, which felt generous and very much worth the price of a lunch special. It was rich, fresh, and downright delicious. The service was fast, efficient and friendly, with staff ready to help when asked. A highly recommended spot for anyone seeking hearty comfort food in Helsinki!

一下飛機就馬上跑來喝魚湯原本很期待喝到奶油口味的結果好像賣完了所以喝到的是番茄底剛好幾週前有在斯德哥爾摩Hötorget站食物廣場喝到番茄魚湯可以比較看看先說結論就是我覺得這間更好喝！整個蕃茄湯很清澈帶有蔬菜的甜味湯裡面也的確有很多蔬果鮭魚很大塊然後油脂味很香這裡還有自助的麵包吃到飽麵包非常好吃除了淋上店家提供的醬之外我還會沾著湯吃超級讚⋯

We went to the Hakaniemi Market Hall looking for brunch and noticed many locals ordering at ‘Soup + More.’ The menu was simple, offering only three soups: salmon soup, beef soup, and bean soup. We decided to try all three. Each soup was delicious, and the complimentary bread with pesto sauce was also very tasty. Highly recommended.

As a tourist it was a little difficult to find the spot because the building doesn't look like it'd have a restaurant in it. Basically the building is a little market center so there's actually a lot of little cute shops in there with some good looking food.

I was looking to try lohikeitto. This place definitely delivered a delicious bowl of soup. Worth the time to come here and give it a try. Plenty of salmon and potatoes, broth was soft, flavorful and comforting. Their other soups also looked really good.

Ein kleines Suppenrestaurant mitten im Marktplatz Hakaniemi. Es gibt täglich drei verschiedene Suppen im Angebot, in der Regel eine mit Fleisch, eine mit Fisch und eine vegetarische Variante. Ich habe mich für die vegetarische Artischockensuppe mit Apfel und Blauschimmelkäse entschieden und diese war ausgesprochen gut. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zur Suppe gibt es kostenloses Brot mit Öl und Wasser. Das Ambiente ist schlicht gehalten, die wenigen eigenen Sitzplätze sind recht eng, die allgemeinen Sitzplätzen in der Markthalle bieten etwas mehr Freiraum. Absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der gerne Suppen isst.
